With nearly a decade of experience in the interior design industry, I bring a refined, thoughtful approach to every project. Over the past five years, I have specialized in new construction and custom homes—guiding clients through the intricate design-build process with clarity, creativity, and confidence.
As the founder and Principal Designer of Southern Mod Interiors, I am passionate about blending modern design elements with the warmth and character of Southern living. My work is defined by clean lines, layered neutrals, and intentional details that feel both elevated and livable.
Known for my collaborative spirit and eye for timeless design, I partner closely with homeowners, builders, and architects to create spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful—from floor plans to final layers.

MEET KERRI
Kerri is an interior designer with a love for creating calm, grounded spaces that feel as good as they look. She specializes in organic modern interiors — think clean lines, natural textures, and neutral palettes that bring a sense of ease and warmth to any room.
Before Southern Mod, Kerri ran her own boutique furniture and home decor shops. That chapter taught her so much — not just about design, but about what goes into bringing a space to life. She worked closely with local makers and national vendors, sourcing everything from custom pieces to vintage finds. It gave her a deep understanding of procurement, product curation, and building strong vendor relationships.
Over the last couple of years, Kerri has focused her design knowledge and talent on custom homes. She has the intuitive sense for reading between the lines, picking up on subtle cues, and translating them into a design that feels spot-on even when the client can’t quite put their style into words. For Kerri, design is always about the story the client wants to tell. She loves the process of guiding, interpreting, and creating a home that feels like you — only more grounded, more refined, and more you than you thought possible.
