With nearly a decade of experience in the interior design industry, I bring a refined, thoughtful approach to every project. Over the past five years, I have specialized in new construction and custom homes—guiding clients through the intricate design-build process with clarity, creativity, and confidence.
As the founder and Principal Designer of Southern Mod Interiors, I am passionate about blending modern design elements with the warmth and character of Southern living. My work is defined by clean lines, layered neutrals, and intentional details that feel both elevated and livable.
Known for my collaborative spirit and eye for timeless design, I partner closely with homeowners, builders, and architects to create spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful—from floor plans to final layers.

Maddie supports renovation and interior styling projects through design development, visual planning, and presentation materials. With a strong eye for layout and 3D visualization, she helps bring ideas to life through renderings, space planning, and renovation-focused design support, while also leading select projects.
Maddie approaches every project with a deep commitment to understanding the unique vision and lifestyle of each client. She takes the time to listen carefully, asking the right questions to ensure that every design decision, from spatial flow to material selection, reflects the client’s personality and functional needs. Her attentiveness to detail means that no element is overlooked, and clients can always trust that their investment is in thoughtful, intentional hands.
Maddie’s greatest strength lies in her ability to transform a concept or inspiration into a fully realized visual experience. Through her expertise in 3D rendering and spatial design, she bridges the gap between imagination and reality giving clients a true sense of how a finished space will look and feel long before construction or styling begins. Her renderings go beyond aesthetics, accurately capturing scale, light, texture, and material relationships to provide a comprehensive and immersive preview of the design. Alex supports our new construction projects through design coordination, selections management, and vendor communication. She plays a key role in keeping design decisions organized, documented, and aligned with construction requirements while also taking the lead on select projects and specific finish categories.
Alex brings a meticulous and organized approach to every project, ensuring that no detail falls through the cracks from concept through completion. Her ability to manage complex selections processes, coordinating finishes, fixtures, and materials across multiple vendors and timelines, means that projects move forward smoothly and with intention. Clients can trust that every decision is carefully tracked, communicated, and executed with precision, creating a seamless experience from start to finish.
